Demystifying Lighting

When a customer enters a store, he doesn’t know exactly what has popped out at him, whether the furniture, the colors, or the product.  Everything is designed to be pleasant and welcoming, and it is the lighting that will really bring it out. Ensuring color, focus, direction, and interaction with the environment, not to mention the brand’s own aesthetic attributes, are the result of well-planned and executed lighting. But there is not always enough knowledge or material for this.

It is therefore necessary to understand some basic concepts about lighting. They are all related to the quality of light, the observer’s perception of the environment, and energy consumption (or utilization). Therefore, thinking about how these concepts relate quantitatively and qualitatively clarifies and demystifies lighting, bringing them closer to reality.
