Lighting Connections: Our participation in the first edition of RDforum

11/10/2025 | On November 6th and 7th, we took part in the first edition of RDForum 2025, an event that brought together professionals in retail design to discuss disciplines related to design—focused on creating physical and digital retail environments optimized to deliver memorable experiences to customers and boost sales.

The RDforum project was born from the meeting of experiences: architect and retail designer Renato Fregnani joined Thiago Gaya, founder and organizer of the world’s largest architectural lighting congress, LEDforum. Together, they built an identity that combines the concepts and expertise of the retail sector with the skill of designing events that foster learning, exchange, and community building.

At this gathering, we had the opportunity to showcase our lighting solutions for retail—a sector that is constantly evolving and increasingly demands immersive and emotional experiences. We translated this idea into our booth: a space of light, design, and genuine exchange.

An event that reflects the future of business

Over the two-day event, the agenda was carefully structured to explore design, innovation, and sustainability in both physical and digital retail, with emphasis on brand ecosystems, experience, technology, and purpose.

Seeing our clients on stage sharing their journeys reinforced how essential light is to the experiences that retail offers. Lighting is in every detail that moves, highlights, and connects brands to people.

That’s why we couldn’t miss the chance to honor everyone involved in these two days full of connection and inspiration. We held a raffle of our Ojigi luminaire, one of our most symbolic products. The name Ojigi comes from a traditional Japanese gesture of greeting and respect—representing respect and connection, values that guide how we build relationships with our clients and partners.

Inspired by the spirit of collaboration and exchange that defined the event, Ojigi symbolized our gesture of gratitude to everyone who visited our booth, attended the talks, and shared ideas that motivate us to keep innovating.

Innovation, design, and sustainability through the lens of RDforum

We exclusively presented some of our latest lighting solutions.

chrom projector

We showcased the Chrom projector, a versatile and refined lighting solution designed for environments that demand both precise light control and aesthetic excellence.

– The first luminaire in the world equipped with color recognition technology and adaptive light spectrum, combined with AI-powered data-driven lighting management.
– The system automatically adjusts to the type and color of detected products, ensuring that the emitted light is of the highest quality and most attractive to customers.

With the Chrom projector, we aimed to demonstrate that light goes beyond functionality to become an active part of the design concept—not just to illuminate, but to enhance, adapt, and generate insights.

leaf recessed line

One of the main eco-friendly highlights we presented was the Leaf line of recessed luminaires, developed with our own recyclable resin and focused on true sustainability.

– This line fulfills our promise to act with environmental awareness, contributing to the circular economy of the sector.
– It combines clean and direct design with the luminous efficiency required for corporate, retail, or residential environments.

Presenting Leaf reinforced our commitment to sustainability, discussing materials, processes, and life cycle choices.

microgroove projector

projetor

We also exhibited the Microgroove projector, our latest launch, offering a modular, versatile, and visually refined approach to distinctive lighting designs.

– With a ribbed design along its body and elegant proportions, Microgroove captures the beauty of the essential.
– Versatile in application: pendant, projector, semi-recessed, or modular system, easily adapting to different architectural contexts.

sabi line

sabi assimétrico

We featured the Sabi family as part of the exhibited portfolio. Inspired by the wabi-sabi concept, it celebrates the beauty of imperfection and subtlety—echoing Japanese minimalism, contemplation, and quiet elegance.

– Available in spot and asymmetric versions, it offers a versatile alternative for projects that require lower luminous flux.
– The spot version features IP44 protection.

Other exclusive developments

Beyond these main highlights, we also unveiled several other new products from our portfolio, creating a showcase where partners, clients, and professionals could see, touch, and understand what’s coming next.
