4 award-winning stores at the RDI have something in common: Omega lighting
On March 24, the 12th edition of the Retail Design Award, promoted by the Retail Design Institute Brazil, took place an evening that went far beyond the awards ceremony. More than recognizing projects, the event reinforced something we strongly believe in: retail design is built through community, through exchange, collaboration, and the continuous evolution of the industry.
For us, being part of this ecosystem also means closely following how lighting increasingly contributes, in a strategic way, to the in-store experience.
The highlight of the night: projects that translate strategy, experience, and identity

Year after year, the projects presented at the awards demonstrate a clear advancement in the maturity of Brazilian retail, not only in aesthetics, but especially in consistency and in the understanding of design as a business tool. And it is within this context that lighting takes on a leading role.
More than a technical element, it becomes a language: guiding the eye, enhancing materials, creating atmosphere, and strengthening brand identity within physical spaces.
In this edition, we were pleased to see projects featuring our luminaires being recognized, reinforcing something we experience every day: lighting is an active part of a retail project’s success. Highlights include:
Assador São Paulo | StudioZeh Arquitetura | 1st place

Eudora | Boticário | 2nd place

TIM Flagship | Estúdio Jacarandá | 1st place

Clash OBoticário LAB | Boticário | 2nd place

These recognitions clearly demonstrate how well-designed lighting moves beyond a supporting role to become a strategic element in retail design.
In this edition, our Purchasing Director, Hiroshi Nagata, was invited by the Retail Design Institute Brazil to present two award categories, Fashion and Food, contributing directly to one of the most symbolic moments of the evening.
An ecosystem that evolves together
The RDI Award does not celebrate projects alone—it strengthens an entire ecosystem. Architects, lighting designers, brands, and suppliers move forward together, raising the standard of Brazilian retail and creating increasingly relevant experiences for consumers.
For us, being present—supporting, participating, and illuminating these projects—is part of our commitment to the development of design in the country. We believe that lighting goes beyond revealing spaces. It is about empowering ideas, enhancing brands and transforming experiences.
