BDA 2023: ubá won the silver medal

On December 5, 2023, the highly anticipated award ceremony of the BDA – Brazilian Design Award, promoted by ABEDESIGN (Brazilian Association of Design Companies), illuminated the São Paulo Hall with the theme of celebrating Brazilian Design and the connection between history and innovation. It is with immense satisfaction that we share the achievement of the silver medal in the Product Design category for our ubá luminaire.

The name of the luminaire pays homage to the canoe, or any lightweight vessel, with a meticulously designed profile to offer continuous lines of light, providing a light and delicate visual experience. Conceived by our skilled Head of Products, Ricardo Fahl, the lamp stood out among a demanding panel of industry judges due to its comfortable and controlled lighting. Its light and elegant applicability make it perfect for a variety of environments.

On the award night, we were represented by our team: Ricardo Fahl, Head of Products, Director of Purchasing Hiroshi Nagata, and marketing professionals Caroline Santos and Evelyn Santana. Check out some photos from the memorable night below.

Through achievements like this, we reaffirm our commitment, going beyond the simple consumable product. We focus on the future, using design as a tool that supports our mission to leave a lasting mark and transform lives. We are determined to continue on the path of excellence and innovation.
