We lit up the 16th edition of LEDforum with flavor
In its 16th edition, LEDforum invited a deep reflection on the meaning of light in architecture and design. With the theme “The Sense of Light”, the event — held from August 20 to 23 — encouraged us to explore lighting as a resource filled with intention, capable of transcending its technical function to become an agent of transformation, narrative, and experience.
Once again, we were present, reaffirming our essence. Our booth was conceived as a truly immersive experience, where light guided every detail, creating atmospheres that revealed — in a sensory and engaging way — the uniqueness of our new products. Visitors were able to interact intuitively with the solutions, experiencing firsthand the impact light can generate when allied with technology and intention.
Precise light, robust form, innovation in the right measure. Under this concept, we introduced two new products that expand the possibilities of lighting design with precision and impact:
kopo
Kopo line brings a new language to outdoor spaces: fluid, discreet, and attentive to detail. Its range naturally adapts to different applications, creating compositions that harmonize with both architecture and landscape design. The robust form, combined with customizable finishes, transforms technique into aesthetics.Designed for seamless integration into landscaping, gardens, and pathways, the luminaire features IP65 protection and operates on extra-low voltage (24V SELV), ensuring enhanced safety at every stage—from installation to use in humid areas or high-traffic zones, and even during maintenance. Its tempered glass diffuser ensures durability while filtering UV radiation, and the PMMA lens provides precise beams and uniform light distribution.

microgroove
With a fluted design along its entire length and a body of elegant proportions, Microgroove embodies the beauty of the essential. Its discreet yet striking presence enhances surfaces and volumes with precise light. Versatile in application—pendant, projector, semi-recessed, or modular system—it easily adapts to different architectural contexts in residential, corporate, hospitality, and retail segments. The projector and semi-recessed versions allow for varied compositions and orientations, which can either align seamlessly with the project’s architectural language or strengthen brand identity, becoming a visual expression element beyond lighting itself.

In the main auditorium, the lighting was designed by lighting designer Fernanda Carvalho, and we had the pleasure of collaborating, contributing to the creation of a technical yet sensitive atmosphere in harmony with the content presented over the three days. In addition, we developed the conceptual design of the AsBAI stand—an entity we deeply admire and with which we share important values for the development of the industry.
Another highlight was the panel “Projects in Perspective (MASP): the meaning of multidisciplinarity in Lighting Design”, which we promoted with the presence of our representative Ricardo Coelho. The discussion brought reflections on the integration of different areas of knowledge within the creative process with light, contributing to the deepening of this year’s theme.
We also had even more reasons to celebrate: during the event, we received the LIT Design Awards 2024 (Winner in the Ambient Lighting category) with our Yosegi luminaire — an international recognition that reinforces our commitment to design, innovation, and purpose in lighting.
As tradition, we were also present at the closing party Lighting Lovers with our Omega Bar, a favorite meeting point for many. The relaxed atmosphere was complemented by a special selection of drinks — including our mysterious secret cocktail, which once again delighted those lucky enough to try it. It was a vibrant celebration, worthy of what LEDforum represents to the passionate lighting community.
We leave this edition with new ideas, strengthened partnerships, and renewed enthusiasm to keep lighting with meaning and purpose.
